I just bought a PC , and It's pre made , Some hardware store guys made it for me , They have now closed down the buisness , So I cant contact them...
My CPU is Intel G3220 and It runs with Stock cooler , and Its brand new and without load , It runs around 42C constant , Is that bad ? They must have forgot Thermal paste right?

More about : 43c load intel g3220 bad

that is running really hot, my i5 would run at maybe 30c, but it's not the end of the world. You could get a cooler master tx3 if your case is small, or if you have room, the hyper 212 evo is good

So what do you say , They forgot thermal paste or Is it normal to have 42C with normal stock cooler , Please help , I am on a strict budget and can not afford a loss.

open it up and check it then, I really doubt they didn't put any thermal paste at ALL on it....and do you mean they went out of business or are just closed for the day? If they went out of business already that's a shady place lol.

well, stock coolers arent any good and one reason is the low quantity and quality of the applied thermal compound.since you cant overclock, at stocks speed the stock cooler will suffice if you reapply an aftermarket one like this: Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound in order to make the most out of it(stock cooler)

I am gonna close my PC now and check it by a trusted hardware store , Temps already on 45C with Stock cooling.
I think they didn't put any paste.

All intel stock cooler have paste pre applied on them. they cant have missed that. what are your load temps? if there wasent any you would be hitting 90c

dont be alarmed! you should put some load to have an all around image of temps.except room temp, tower ventilation can also affect cpu temps. use real temp i suppose you have checked if cooler is securely fit and fan is spinning.

I have tested my System using PassMark with full load , It doesn't cross 47C , and on Idle Its 42C , If I remove the case side panel , It drops to 39C , I think It's perfectly normal for an Intel Stock Cooler...also given there is no system fan in my Case (Even though the case is very ventilated) , What do You say?

yes thats fine. i would prefer you keep the side panel and install at least a rear fan as exsaust.may ventilated properly but lacks of airflow. adding also an intake would produce best results(depending your tower)make sure you use real temp-core temp-cpid hw monitor for accurate readings.anyway all look good, again, if you arent pleased, reaplying thermal compound will improve them a little bit. also running with igp also justifies , higher idle temps!

My Tower doesn't support Intake , but does the exhaust fan , I will get that.
