Computer boots up then shuts down after a second.

I've recently bought things for a new pc and put it all together. It worked until I took out the CPU and put it back in. I don't think it's the power supply because it is only 1 month old. Now it just turns on and shuts down 1 second later.

Please help me!

I gather it doesn't even boot - fails the Power On Self Test. maybe you stuffed up mobo cpu socket pins. Check with a magnifying glass.

I had a similar problem when building my PC, for me it was a simple case of plugging in the extra 8-Pin ATX power from the GPU into the mobo, might be worth checking

It turns out there are some bent pins but I'm having trouble fixing it. Might I have to buy another motherboard?

Ive bent pins but I bent them back.. I dont recommend it but it worked for me.. and yes.. bent pins are your problem.. and probably no about the MOBO but if you cant figure out the pins then you may need a new CPU.. also when you took out the cpu did you reapply thermal paste?

Its worth trying. I've even seen broke pins fixed - but rare that it works.
