Hey there I'm looking to purchase a new mid end gaming PC but I don't know what power supply I should get. My Specs
AMD FX 6300 [May Over clock]
4GB DDR3 1333mhz Ram
R9 270 MSI Gaming Edition [I will over clock to the speed of a R9 270x]
1 DVD-RW Drive
1 500gb 7200rpm Sata 6gb
Asus M5A97 L.E R2.0
BitFenix Merc Alpha
I was hoping to get the EVGA 500B 500w PSU if I could. Please keep prices low. Thanks
By the way I'm from the UK so £ would be better than $

That xfx psu is a nice one.

If you're really going to overclock would i spend a little more on the motherboard,
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-motherboard-m5a97r20
or this one,
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-ga970aud3p (
or even less,
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/gigabyte-motherboard-ga970ads3p
(even with no overclocking will this be a nice and cheaper option)
these have cooling at the vrm's which will help.
A list about vrm's->overclocking and which am3+ motherboard supports that,

If you decide not to overclock and will not upgrade the gpu to one that needs two power connectors would the next psu also be fine...
