After watching Austin Evans's Meson Mini-itx build as same as I planning to build, it is really great it can run almost any games , I got Intel i5 4440 but after few researches Intel i3 4130 its just a little bit fall behind from higher price Intel i5 4670k IN GAMING and i5 4440 is worst in price/performance ratio, but what if its in web surfing, photo editing and video editing can Intel i3 4130 perform smooth and good ?

the i3 will do just as good as the i5 until things require more then 2 cores, which nowdays is a very common thing. The i5 is much better when it comes gaming and other dependent tasks. The i5 4440 is defiantly worth the price difference, as two cores is becoming too little these days, especially in ultra gaming.

For gaming, I will recommend the i5, it is the minimal if you want to run the newest games at at least high settings.

not for long, BF4 ultra needs more then two intel cores for a good gaming experience, these next gen games will also require four, but will also require more heavy threads, which the i5 has more of.

I know you didn't ask for this, but i would really recommend getting a FX-6300. On stock clocks it performs very well in multi-threaded apps and not that bad in single threaded (worse then the i5 though). After overclock it has comparable performance. If you wanna have the i5 I'd recommend getting 3470.

Sad to say that we don't have any mATX motherboards which I like for budget
