This is a LONG SHOT. But what are a few choices, if ANY. Of a graphics cards than can run prototype 2 @ 800 x 600 fairly better than a HD5450? Game lags hardcore on my system.

Info on the pc:

Windows 7 ( not that it matters )
AMD FX-8320
gigabyte GA-970A board with 16 gigs mem
and (shitty) psu 380watts ( yes I know you all are going to bash me on this psu )

But I do wish to know, what would be a better card "in MY case" Than my Radeon HD5450 1gb

Depends on the PSU. What is the amps on the 12v rails rated on the psu?

Just about anything would be better than a 5450

The shame is that FX-8320 isn't bad at all. Just being decimated by that video card.

What's your budget? Best bet without changing PSU is the GTX 750ti. But you're paying for efficiency rather than performance.

An AMD R7 250 is cheaper (and slower), but will easily play anything at 800x600.

a 750ti is great low end gaming, use very little power and require little cooling, gigabyte got a 2 fan version thats very quiet, evga is noisy even in idle.

Ok I'll try to answer your questions in order..

Suztera, +12v(1) 12 amps, +12v(2) 12 amps, -12v 0.3 amps

Rhysiam, My budget is around 100 bucks give or take.

And the reason I said play fairly better than the 5450 at 800 x 600 is because I just enjoy the game period. resolution isn't a very big deal for me with THIS game. Perhaps at a later date I'll move on to better games, I'm not a heavy gamer. IE Call of duty, I dont play games like that. I'm more free roam, gta, saints row. Imight hop on WoW every now and then. Back to the point. My psu is very shitty. 350watts once again. I just want to be able to game without much lag, if any... with decent detail. But once again, I know thats probably a hard call seeing as though my psu is crap. To be more specific. Thermaltake Purepower atx 12v 2.0 350. More to make it easier

The R7 Also has a suggested power consumption rating of 400 watts, I'm working with a 350. So after a bit of gaming I'll be looking at crashed gameplay, and or bluescreen.
