asus power surge detected after changing psu

hi i just bough my self a new PSU, and suddenly i get this message when i started my PC

"Power Supply Surges detected during the previous power on.
ASUS Anti-Surge was triggered to protect system from unstable power supply unit!"

my pc specs are :
AMD FX 4100
GTX 660 ti
1 stick 4 GB DDR3 RAM visipro
M5A78L-MLx

PSU :
before : seasonic ss500et 500w
after : seasonic SS750JS 750w

is it dangerous ?

No it is not I would turn off that Asus detection.

Yes the PSU is fine, I frequently see this here on the forum and it is the sensitivity of the Asus detecting that causes it. It is caused by a power spike when the computer is turned on.

If you had a board from other manufacturer you would not even know it was there.

I just posted my occurrence. My questions now are why has it just started now after over one year.The random restarts result in data loss. The PSU company blames the MB the MB blames the PSU. THeres more going on here than currently meets the eye. I just lost 22 minutes of work because I didn't do a backup before the unexpected shut down. If what you say is true, I should be turfing the asus m,b not the psu

Shut downs are a different issue and can be either the motherboard or the PSU.
