Is a 500w psu enough for a R9 270x

I have a Corsair Cx 500w power supply and my system consists of a R9 270x Amd 7850k Apu i was wondering if 500w was enough for my system.

enough but just dont overclock both of them at once and dont over do it. a few mhz on the gpu or some .ghz on the cpu too would be enough.

It is barely enough power to run your system. I recommend at least a 550 watt PSU (600 watt if you're overclocking slightly). See this thread: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1864497/psu-reco...

Im running a R7 270X on a 500W OCZ PSU and have been for the last few months with no problems at all. As long as its a good quality PSU (corsair are good) you will be fine. I would take a Good 500W PSU of a unknown 800W all day long!.
