So overnight my pc went from a glorious home built pc to what seems to be a 10 year old laptop. Now it's a weird issue though. Opening programs, Boot up, and anything Windows related trends to just crash but stream, origin, league, Google Chrome all work pretty normally. I already tried restoring to a previous date but that did nothing. Also I checked performance on task manager and evening appeared to be fine. Currently am running a Norton scan to see if that helps at all. If anyone has any ideas is be very grateful.
Thanks-Derek

Edit: oh and also I have 3 drives. An ssd for windows and 2 hdd for everything else so im not sure as to whether it's Windows, a virus, or a failing drive but they were all new, Samsung/WD drives when I bought them may 2012.

Im not sure how to go about doing that with nortan but I read somewhere to try uninstalling antivirus and see what happens. Its painfully slow but im in the process now. Fyi ive tried using wimdows defrag and that did nothing. Do you think it could be a ram issue?

So I did that, nothing changed. Im in the process of reformating all three drives at the moment. I'll come back and tell you how that goes once all is finished.
