Brand New CPU has a fingerprint on it

Hi this is weird but i bought a FX 8350 black edition from scan brand new, the box was sealed however when i opened it i could see a fingerprint on the cpu i assumed it was from the plastic outer but on inspection its on the cpu and i have not touched it, should i be sending this back to scan ???

If so, I would return the processor as soon as possible.

i wont get a chance to try until the rest of my pc comes looking at about 2 weeks and and the returns are also 2 weeks before they reject your returns apparently anyone had this before ??

It's really nothing to worry about. Just clean it off good and it will be good to go. However, this is unacceptable considering that it's a new processor... But I, personally, would keep the CPU because I wouldn't want to wait another 2 weeks for my computer.

i would rather keep but there returns policy if faulty would stop me returning when all parts are ready to be installed if it does come up as faulty

Update for all scan were really good they took it back and sent a new one by the next day, I had to pay return postage but to be fair they got the replacement to me fast along with an apology, they also didn't know why it had prints on but from what I gather there looking into it.
