Adding Wi-Fi password on second router

Hello,

At home I have an EE Fibre router which is connected to a second router in my office outside via Ethernet cable. The connection is fine and working as it should however there is no password on my second router in the office meaning that anyone can connect! I know how to change the password on my main router but not the second one. So my question is, how can I protect the second router without affecting my main one?

I think I've covered everything but let me know if you require further information to help!

Every router you can acess its settings via its web gui by just typing its IP address into a web browser.

You will want to connect to it via an ethernet cable and once connected you can go to a command prompt window and type ipconfig and then input find your ethernet adapter in the info that displayed, and input the default gateway address into a web browser.

From there you will need to get a manual for your router, each company uses a slightly different wording and menu structure to access the settings to set your wireless password.

You should use WPA-2 encryption as that is the better one.

Do you have wireless on your first router and the second router?
