Hey there people,

I was looking to buy a Power supply and my Graphic card has 2 x 6pin ports on it. Do I need to fill them both in order to work properly ??

http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-260/specifications

The question is; When looking at power supply specification, If I do need to supply these 2 x 6pin with power, they say ''PCI-Express Connector'' (ex. 1x 6pin , 1x 6+2 pin )

DOES THAT INCLUDE THE 8pin One FOR THE CPU ??

or PCI-e is it 1x 6pin, 1x 6+2 pin AND 8PIN ???

Solution
The CPU connector is an entirely different connector. All modern desktops require the CPU connector even if there is no discrete graphics card. It's a different category and the pin arrangement is different. Yes, you need to plug in both GPU connectors.
