I was wondering what size CPU cooler I need for an i7-4770k that I might overclock in the future. Is the 120mm radiator enough or should I get the 240mm radiator just to be safe?

Bigger is always better if cost isnt an issue. You can dissipate more heat that way.

Also depends on how high you want to OC, an air cooler like the Hyper 212 EVO is plenty up through about 4.4 for 24/7 running, the Phanteks and Noctuas are good through around 4.6, I have the CM GTS V8 and run 4.6 to 4.7 24/7 on my 4770K. How high are you OCing?

In most applications I think you will see VERY minor improvements with 240mm. If you are overclocking high and doing a lot of folding or whatever then you might want to step it up yeah. I used a 120 before my current 280.

Highly recommend making your own loop thou. Less restrictive flow, possible to fix, possible to clean and custom tubing shape, size, color. Very easy to do. Check out swiftech if you are in the USA or EK in jurope
