Should I get a IPS panel or TN panel monitor for gaming?

Hello, I'm having trouble deciding whether to get a IPS panel or TN panel monitor. The TN panel monitor I was looking at has a 1ms response time and is 144hz, which would help me for multiplayer gaming, but I've heard that it has poor color quality. On the other hand, I could get IPS monitor I was looking at, which looks better and is more suited for single-player games, but has a response time of 5ms and 60hz. Are TN panel monitors color quality that bad? Is there that much of a difference between 5 and 1 ms response time? What do you guys recommend? Here are the two monitors I was looking at:

depends on a game:
if you like fast paced action with a metric fsckton of various effects and a lots of stuff flying around /preferably crazy inverted colours/, then there is a bit difference - the 5ms will leave a trace (ghost or a shadow - since the colours stuck in between of the original and the colour that should follow).
it can be a bit of annoyance, but for a non trained eye anything less than 8ms is not noticable.

TN
plus side - every game has it's sweet spot - many fps have theirs at 120 fps - playing at that frame rate will let you feel like a god on steroids.
downside - TN hasn't got as vibrant colours and has lower viewing angles compared to IPS

IPS - the 5ms response time is great - and you get a lot better colours and...
