Hi, I dont know what else I can think of, I am really desperate at my desk now, I bought an mx239h...God it shows packs of gray instead of black...plasma suffers from burn-in and doesn't come in smaller size than 42 for 1080p, TN suffers from gamma shifting..S-PVA, VA AMVA panels are rare guys can any one help me decide what to do here!? why don't they produce CRTs anymore!? :.( what if I bought an HDTV, is it any better?

PROBLEM SOLVED... Just posting this for people with the same problem, the problem was not the monitor it was NVIDIA!!! I noticed that when I connected my old rig to the same monitor with AMD inside, well it was a shame that NVIDIA can't show full RGB when using HDMI cable, I needed to do some registery tweaks for the nvidia's nasty bug... now blacks are black but I hope nvidia fixes this or else my next upgrade is an AMD next time

Hi...I tried reducing the brightness to 50 and still it is grayish, also I have tried reducing gamma, and brightness using nvidia control panel and still I have those grayish colors, specially when I have a full screen black picture, anything else I should try?....man....I am going crazy, this is my second LCD monitor... do you think Asus VS24AH-P is any better?

do you think it is the edge to edge glass of this monitor that makes it worse, I heard some one said edge to edge glass makes blacks really grayish, even it is 1300:1...do you think getting Asus VS24AH-P, which doesn't use edge to edge glass is any better?
