Where exactly do I install this wifi adapter?

Yes, the card will mount in the slot and the antennas will be on the outside of the case. If you don't already have the adapter, you may want to consider one with an antenna that can be removed and extended for better reception. Sometimes the back of the PC is in a spot hard to receive a signal from the router.
