I bought my PC from Cyberpower 3 years ago and I feel like upgrading some parts, but would love your guys input and advice on it. I'm currently running AMD Phenom II X6 1100T on a Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3 motherboard and my current graphic card is a AMD Radeon HD 6850 with 8GB DDR3 memory(not sure what brand). The new parts I picked/want are:

CPU: AMD FX8350

MotherBoard: ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ 990FX

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3

Graphic Card: Gigabyte R9 270X GDDR5-2GB

Couple of things, First I am not an overclocker, 2nd compared to my current build is this new build worth it in your opinion? Third: I mainly use my computer for gaming and video editing. I would really appreciate your input on this thank you.

Nice mix of components, should be fine, with the older rig may want to consider replacing the PSU also
