Hello,

I've thought of many build and this is my latest. This is my first gaming pc and I would like to know if everything is compatible with each other. And if there are any suggestions please tell me.

This is the build:

CPU: AMD FX-6300
GPU: MSI GTX 760 Gaming 2GB
PSU: XFX Core edition 550w
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB (BLUE)
HDD: WD Blue WD10EZEX
MOBO: Asus M5A97 EVO
CASE: Fractal Design Define R4

Thanks in advance!

PS: Don't suggest components that are out of the price range these parts are in.

For that price it seems like a nice build, But I would recommend getting a power supply from corsair or seasonic, 2 very excellent brands. Other then that everything seems good. If you were to upgrade anything I would recommend a i5 4670k instead of that amd fx 6300

If I helped then please select a solution, remember to look at some sites such as pcpartpicket.com for a bit more help before you buy. There you can look at other people's builds at around the same budget as you, and you might find some building that are better then what I suggested for around the same money.

You do realise at this budget an XFX PSU beats a Corsair PSU easily? Also, if he upgraded the CPU, the motherboard would also need to change. That CPU is a lot more expensive too. Please don't post if you have no idea what you're talking about.

Appreciate the feedback, 1 of my friends run a 6300 and another runs the 4670k. the friend with the 4670k runs ultra on bf4 and the friend with the 6300 runs high. They both run the same GPU. So I was recommending if avalible to get the i5, the 6300 is perfectly capable aswell.

As with the PSU. That was just my suggestion as I have had absolutely no issues with corsair psu's and their customer care is fantastic. I recommend the brand I use obviously.

Thanks for the feedback
