Hi all,
I'm building a gaming PC for a friend but he has given me a tight budget of 350 euro (288 Pounds/484 dollars) Since parts aren't very cheap in Ireland, you may get more/less for the money abroad.

These are the specs:

Would this be good for playing some games such as Call of Duty Ghosts, BF4 and say Minecraft at say, decent settings with 30+ frames.

any reasonable part suggestions will be accepted.
Thanks.

Its a little more expensive but its worth it. Firstly, the Asrock will be a bit better than the Gigabyte. Next, the case. That case you had was tiny, this is a full atx case and will support a bigger graphics card. Then I changed the power supply. This needed a little bit bigger PSU, and the Xfx is perfect. Finally the graphics card. For around 20 more quid, the r9 270 will beat the 750 Ti by a long shot.

Solution
Well is your under 400$ then I would just go console, because honestly unless you invest at least $700 (starting from scratch) then you can't meet the demands of 2013 and forward titles. It be a better investment in a console OR save some more money and then try again (look at i5 CPUs as minimum).

I would say the graphics card is fine in that case - supports up to 300mm

Its tough to get a build for that money but I think the above or similar would be ok :)

I too changed the CPU for a better model, the CX has mixed reviews.
Do you not need an optical drive or o/s?

Thanks for the answer! I'll have to ask because he said he wouldn't go much more over 350 euros

Well tell him if he doesn't he's going to get crappy performance (no offense to the build you put together)
