Ok Guys i have faced this issue before, initially i thought it was the PSU but then it was my MOBO which was the GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD7-B3...since it was out of warranty, i was forced to buy an ASUS Z77 SABERTOOTH MOBO....things were pretty much fine until 2hrz of Gameplay...i get the same KERNAL_POWER 41..meaning the system wld just hang there and am forced to switch if off and switch it back on....!!
...i really dont know what to do now....i have replaced my GPU's...Bought a new MOBO....but still the problem seems to persist. Is there anyway i can get a log and paste it here so that you ppl can help narrow the problem.

Kernel power just means it unexpectedly lost power, not anything about the cause.

What's the full specs?

What are the exact temperatures, most importantly of the GPUs?

Is it a 6990 or a pair of 6970s in CF?

Yes they are in CF and their temps are close to 90C....!!

At idle, or under full load?

You probably need to clean some dust out, and maybe add extra ventilation.

That's unlikely to make a difference.

and could you advice me a good power extender cable(8pin) for my motherboard...since the one corsair gave me is short and always touches some part of the system...which is feel is one of the reason for the system failure...!!
and i use a CM HAF X full tower cabinet...!!

It touching the board isn't an issue.

What's the cooling in the system?

That's not what I meant.

Where are the case fans, and in what direction are they pointing?

ok...2 on top....one in the front of the case and one to the side.....all thz are 200mm fans and thrz 140mm and the rear of the case but due to the mobo design...my V6gt is facing upwards...meaning....the rear of the cooler is facing towards the top and the intake is facing the GPU's.....!!
