Custom case help!

So after attempting to add a window to my expensive Nanoxia case and screwing it up :fou:

I decided to build my own case and I wanted to try to make a mac pro "trash can" type case because I like the airflow design. So I thought I would take a piece of aluminum and make a aluminum cylinder that had a diameter of 12 inches so I could fit my matx board in there. Any thoughts ? I would fit the Mobo in using a vertical stand with a tray on it.

To be honest, if you messed up cutting a window into a case, I don't think building a case from scratch is the best call. But, go for it.

I didn't make the right measurement by around a cm and my case wouldn't shut I'm very good with modding I just happened to screw up one of my nicer cases... Also The GPU would be on the back of the tray using pcie extensions like the ones used in mining rigs.

It sounds interesting. I can't really visualize it but I would say why not try? If it works out, it would be pretty cool.
