Shall i buy a new monitor?

I own a Samsung T260 , 1920x1200,60hz resolution. It is i guess about 4-5 years old. It is working fine , but nothing special.

Do new monitors make much difference? Should i be looking for a new monitor?

Pretty much what i tought. New ones have 1080 lines instead of 1200 and is a big loss. Seems it s better to wait until 4k monitors are more common.

could be next year they will have all bug set on those new monitor then it will be time to look around if you dont need to get some new parts to work with them .
