Hi guys, my final budget for my new PC is $3300. I want to make a really powerful and value for money gaming PC out of this amount. Please help me, suggest suitable components. Please see, I only want to spend this amount entirely on CPU, not other peripherals like monitor/speaker etc.
Thank You. :)

No no.. that'd be a a Rs. 30,000 Computer. Not asking for that, $3300 is approximately Rs. 2,00,000.

No, 1 Dollar= Rs. 60.64
in that respect,
Rs. 200000 is the amount i have, converting to dollars : (200000/60.64) = 3298.15 ~ 3300.
I put it up in dollar so its easy for the guys who aren't from india.

That's using the full budget. I could make another that has 80-90% of the power for $2000 if you decide to save money.

zeph_yr, there is no benefit for him to go with the 4820k + X79 over the 4770k + Z87. He's not going to need the extra PCIe lanes and he also won't be taking advantage of the quad channel memory support the X79 offers. The Haswell 4770k has a stronger single core performance advantage over the Ivy-E 4820k
