Slow secondary HDD

I salvaged a 500GB hard drive ST3500418AS from my aunts broken computer at first it worked great but now it takes forever to transfer a video file around 300mb if it transfers at all. I cant figure out what is causing the massive slow down. Also using CrystalDiskInfo to do a benchmark I'm getting a caution on the drive specifically on the Reallocated Sectors Count which is Current:100 Worst:100 Threshold:36

The drive could be failing or you could have bad disk sectors. Try running check disk on the drive and see if there are any problems.

this is a seagate drive so use the seagate seatools to test it
