Try to build my first gaming desktop

Hello guys,
I decided to build a new gaming desktop to replace my old, 5-years old ASUS laptop recently.
I looked lots of the thread to help me to decide what should i get. If you guys see any problem/not cost-efficient/better alternative, please point it out. Thanks! It's my first build.:)
Plan to use on hard-core fps game, and wish this build could last for 2 years.
Also, I'm not sure should I wait for May 11th the new z97 mobo.
Here is the components' list:
Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core
CPU Cooler Corsair H80i 77.0 CFM Liquid
Motherboard Asus Maximus VI Impact Mini ITX LGA1150
Memory Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866
Storage Samsung 840 Pro Series 256GB 2.5" SSD
Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Video Card Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 Ti 3GB WINDFORCE
Case Fractal Design Node 304 (White) Mini ITX Tower
Power Supply Corsair 650W ATX12V / EPS12V

  1. I might do 2x4GB on the RAM for a total of 8GB. That's usually more than plenty. But seeing that the mobo you've picked has only 2 DIMM slots, I can't fault you for wanting to go with a bit more now.

That build will play all games for 4 or more years, but the graphics card is over the top unless you have multiple monitors set up. I would go down to a
GTX 770 and get the asus cuII version for longevity.

at the best price you can find it.

Thanks! definitely a better cost-efficiency choice.
Do you think I should wait z97 at May 11th for mono?
