cannot stop auto updates

Solution
Which updates do you still get?

Non OS programs should have a disable, normally within the options section.

- If it's Windows itself then you shouldn't disable updates - many include critical security updates.
- Same for anti-virus/maleware....leave on.

In general, you should make sure you have the latest updates installed at all times - and as close to update release as possible (if not auto then manual update)
