I want to buy the best hardware for a new computer under 1,000 dollars for speed and resolution and using software Microsoft Windows 7. I do not play any games just use it for financial reasons and learning new skills. Intel only

Hi -
You'll be very happy with:

o Intel I5 4570
o An "H87" class motherboard (socket 1150, to match the CPU)
o 8GB RAM
o 250 GB SSD
o 1TB HD
o 500W PSU
o DVD optical drive
o Case, keyboard, mouse, monitor, cheap external speakers

This will handle all of the basics. You will not need a graphics card for what you describe; the graphics on-board the CPU will do everything you need.

If you think you'll be doing lots of video encoding (changing videos from one format to another) you'd want to consider a CPU with more cores/threads.

If you can let us know more specifically the brands and models of the mobo, memory, PSU, etc., we'll probably have some more wisdom for you. :)

Does this help?
