Hi all, so yesterday I built my first gaming pc, I have crossfire 7770s setup and a new 24 inch widescreen s240hl. I have the HDMI cable in the first card, and when I turn on the pc and monitor, it says energy star for a second or two, then says cable not connected. I tried switching sources by hitting the far right monitor button twice but with no luck.

There is no remote to switch channel or sources and the 5 buttons are in an obscure position on the bottom of the monitor with no labeling

Can anyone help please?

Ok I tried my old monitor, it said check signal cable, so I removed the crossfire cable took out the other card, tried it again and it said the same. So could it be a faulty PCI slot? the card fan starts up fine with the LED's etc ..

I've hooked my xbox up to my monitor and it works fine, so it must be the motherboard as I bought it used. :( I was so excited to use my first build, looks like I'll have to reassemble on a new mobo
