Hi all,

So i have a lenova desktop computer running real slow so i wanted to start fresh.

I have windows 7 home premium booting from a usb stick.

i have run through the setup up to the disk selection.

The HDD was slit into 3 partitions as normal. the oem partition, Driver partition. and the partition windows is installed to...

so i reformatted the partition with windows on it. that all worked.

but now it says windows cant be installed to that disk. please check the controller is enabled in the computer bios. or something like that.

can anyone please help, as i have already reformatted that partition so i cant even load the computer as it was when it was slow.

Maybe try a bios/cmos reset - thru bios or by removing/refitting mobo battery
