Hi, i am currently using onboard graphics for my computer, with a VGA connection to a t.v. im using as a monitor. It displays 1920x1080 perfectly fine and i have not had any problems with it. I recently put a graphics card in i had (Sapphire radeon HD 6770), and i was unable to set the resolution above 1440x900. It is also unable to be changed via catalyst control centre. On an old computer i had the same problem, and after much tampering was able to get 1920x1080, however the edge of the screeen stretched outside the edge of the monitor and i couldnt change it. I have tried updating drivers ect and cannot find a solution. I would like to use the card as the onboard is lacklustre for gaming. Any suggestions/help greatly appreciated. I am not too technical with computers either. Thanks !
