When i checked the gigabyte page for the mobo specs and what ram is supported.
I found this:
Support for DDR3 3000(O.C.) / 2933(O.C.) / 2800(O.C.) / 2666(O.C.) / 2600(O.C.) / 2500(O.C.) / 2400(O.C.) / 2200(O.C.) / 2133(O.C.) / 2000(O.C.) / 1866(O.C.) / 1800(O.C.) / 1600 / 1333 MHz memory modules

Can I install this? : http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-Desktop-Memory-CMZ8GX3M2A1866C9R/dp/B0056KUWS4/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1398692048&sr=8-6&keywords=corsair+vengeance+8gb

Will it support this RAM? can I run it @ 1866? Is this a good memory kit?

Solution
the fact that it's 1866MHz does not impact the compatibility it's to do with timings of the RAM Module (9-10-9-27) which you can type in manualy, I've checked that they are compatible. In future cases go to sites were you can build your pc from scratch like PCPartpicker.com which will let you know if your komponents are compatible

most high-end cpu's are only supporting DDR3 1033 and DDR3 1600 but you can OC thatto higher speeds which will void you warranty on your CPU, if you're not going to OC your CPU then no need for such a high memory kit. mobo are compatible with most new types of RAM since we moved to DDR3.
so will you OC then they are worth getting

and if you are not going to OC the cpu then their is no problem with compatibility since the CPU will simply not use the extra RAM speed, and your RAM shall downclock to the CPU's ability. good luck
