Ok so i have a amd fx 6300 cpu currently and i was wondering if i would actually notice a big difference if i switched to an i5 4670 or not. My gpu is a gtx 770 i'm also not sure if there is a bottleneck in some games or not. Also i'm not an adult with a steady job so upgrading to an i5 for only a little difference would cost a decent amount of money for me which is why I'm on the fence about it. So if anyone could tell me how much of an increase i would get it would be appreciated.

Well, switching processors, in this case, would also require a switch in motherboards. That's a lot of money for both.

Honestly, your rig is good enough as it is. If you feel that your processor is bottlenecking your GPU really hard, probably the most cost-effective solution would be to overclock your processor.

As long as you have a decent motherboard and PSU, it should only be an additional $30-40 for a respectable overclock, and you'll achieve similar (practical) results.
