I have a R9 270x and amd driver 14.4 whql installed . Yet im not getting the api option in the in-game options. Im running 64 bit version of Bf4 . Whats wrong?

Try switching to 14.4 Beta, The mantle option is available for me with WHQL but I had it on through 14.1-4 beta so that could be why. I know the mantle drivers themselves are still in beta so its possible they are only an option in AMD beta drivers.

If you didn't completely clean out the old drivers it can cause problems. Also, Mantle requires playing in 64 bit mode (X64 not X86).
Use DDU then reinstall 14.4 WHQL
