Hi, I am looking to upgrade part of my rig, namely my video card and motherboard.

My i5-2500k works fine, I basically just want to know if it will perform well enough for an r9 280x video card.

I am trying to up my FPS in CS:GO as much as possible.

Thank you, I would consider overclocking it, but the motherboard I have is not great for that in my understanding, it is a msi-z77a-g41. Are you familiar with overclocking w/ that motherboard?

Maybe I should just upgrade that too while im at it
