which 970 series MOBO is best

Out of those three the Asus!
The best Gigabyte board is GA 970A UD3P if in your price range it is better than the Asus.

msi has a lot of issues with vrm overheating, i would stick with asus gigabyte and asrock. either the asus or gigabyte boards you posted are great options :D

they all support the sempron, yes. i would personally go for the asus board :)

i would still go for the asus, but the non-le version is better.

Why the LE version of m5 a97 is preferred even if gigabyte is providing vrm heatsink at same price
