Hello everyone.

For the past couple of days I've been unsuccessfully trying to install Windows 7 on my mom's HP Pavilion Sleekbook 15 laptop that came with a preinstalled W8. The laptop lacks a CD/DVD drive so I had to make an ISO out of the installation disk and then move the files to an 8GB stick using UltraISO.

I managed to combat two big problems by myself, but the third one kills me. At first, the laptop was unable to detect the stick. I disabled USB3 and Safeboot, enabled Legacy Support. Then, installation complained about missing device drivers (CD/DVD). Just by switching the stick into a different USB port I got past this. But now the installation is unable to detect the main HDD and I can't figure out why.

I've tried adding Intel AHCI drivers onto the stick and then using the "Add drivers" function, but I get an error message about "unsigned 64b drivers". I downloaded and added 32b ones and chose 32b Windows 7, managed to dodge the previous error message but still no HDD detection.

I opened the command line and tried detecting drives with diskpart and list disk, but the only one showing is the USB stick. Since I have no place to install W7, I can't move forward.

I have no idea what to next so help is really needed. Thanks!
