It was used for non-overclocked crypto currency mining in a well cooled open air rack setting.

It is incredibly discounted and is WAY more card than I would normally be able to afford. It is an EVGA card, and I have heard that their warranties are transferable.

Would I buy a used GPU? If the price was right, if it was a good enough deal I'd go for it, and they proved it worked

I've used my card in calculations for SETI@Home for long periods of time and it still works alright, I suppose if the temps weren't too high there shouldn't be a problem.

It works just fine now, I am more worried about the longevity and dependability of a card that ran calculations for a month straight. It is more than $200 off the current new asking price.

If card stops working properly you can use your warranty.
