Will this sound card work

I have this http://www.asus.com/Sound_Cards_and_DigitaltoAnalog_Converters/Xonar_DGX/overview/ and an asus p8z77-m motherboard. The pcie slot is covered by my gpu so can it be placed in the second pcie x 16 slot? If so it seems like it will be very loose any correction for this ?

Yes, it can be placed to the x16 slot and it won't be loose since you can use a screw to attach it to the back of your case just like your GPU.
