Hey,
I want to buy a new cooler for my pc and I thought the hyper 612 PWN would be a good choice however I don't know if it wil fit in my case. My case is an antec sonota proto, I have an
amd fx-8150 processor and an AM3+ motherboard.
Thanks for the help.

They would definitely fit, but you will have to pull out your motherboard to install the back plate. For that 8 core CPU I would get one with a thicker radiator like the H80 or Antec 920, ect.

I just llooked over the spec sheet pdf for the case. The case is definitely large enough to hold even the tallest air coolers. There is a place for an extra intake fan to be mounted on the hard drive cages. If you haven't done so already I would definitely add that for some more cooling because that case is very low air flow design.

Depends do you want to favor quiet or performance. On your motherboard is there a 3 or 4 pin fan header? And how much do you want to spend? You are looking at between $5-$20 range of fans.

There's no pre-cut hole in the motherboard tray for a CPU cooler.

That means the motherboard will have to be pulled unless it's a CPU cooler without a backplate. That eliminates the the Hyper 212 unless he doesn't mind pulling the motherboard. Unfortunately most quality coolers do have back plates.

The fans look nice I will defintely buy one. But what about liquid coolers like a Hydro H75 or a Hydro H60. Will they keep my temps lower and will they fit in my case?

The CPU itself will be fine. The problem with these things is lack of airflow over the VRMs. If you can point a small fan on that area it would be more optimal.
