Hey y'all,
I have a asus P6T motherboard with 12Gbs of Ram ( 6x2 Gbs) (two sets of TR3X6G1333C9)
I just added 6 Gbs of ram and I'm still having memory issues with what I'm trying to do (3d Modeling) so I thought maybe i should overclock my ram, so after googling a little I downloaded CPU-Z, and I found out the DRAM Frequency is 543 MHz, which I think means 1086 MHz,
I know I can change this in BIOS, but when I go to BIOS there is the AUTO option and there is 1208MHz and 1603MHz, and no 1333 MHz,
could you guys help me to get the most out of my ram?
Thanks

Solution
well, it seems like you incresed the speed of your fsb a little. if you want to leave your fsb OC'ed, set the ram to 1208. if you want to put the fsb back to stock, the 1603 should go down to 1333.

Thanks for your answer,
I haven't changed anything at all! and everything is on Auto in BIOS,
but CPU-Z is showing 543.5MHz (which means 1086 i guess) as my frequency,
I read in another topic that I can change this in BIOS to the right frequency and my ram will be faster, but 1333 is not there. the options are 1208 and 1603! will anything bad happen if i choose 1603?

I'm really a noob at this, could you tell me where should i add the voltage? and how much is the tiny bit? and is 1-1-1-3 the timing that I should add? I don't know where to add the timing neither, i can see the DRAM Timing Control part in BIOS under the Ai Tweaker, but there isn't a place that i can enter 1-1-1-3! it's like this:
1st info: 8-8-8-20-4-86-8-6-20-0
DRAM CAS# Latency: Auto
..
.
.
(everything is on auto)

2nd info: 2N-52-52-53
DRAM Timing Mode: Auto
...
..
.
(everything is on auto)
3rd Information: 5-5-14-10-10-10-7-6-4-7-7-4
DRAm write to read delay (DD) : Auto
..
.
..
(Everything is on Auto)
