I need help with the search feature

Hi, I need help with the windows explorer and its search function. This problem started 3 days ago and I don't know how to fix it, I even google'd it but seems like nobody has a problem like this one, the thing is: When I'm inside of a file and I wanna jumpt o the files with an X letter on it it doesn't do it but instead it tries to "search" it automatically, how can I deactivate it? I'll put a picture to explain it better:

From any window, like the one in your screenshot, do the following:

1. Click 'Organize' from the top left
2. Click 'Folder and search options'
3. Click the view tab and scroll down to the bottom of the list
4. Click the radio button next to 'Select the typed item in the view'
5. Click apply
