Hello!
Ok so I recently ordered my motherboard, RAM, anti static wristband, and thermal paste from Newegg and I have no idea when my other parts will come. What I want to know is would it be okay to install my motherboard and wait for my other parts when they come? (I would install the motherboard into the case first then the ram and wait for other parts)

Solution
in that case please wait till the other parts arrive.. you may install only the RAM right now..

Once you get the other parts, install CPU first, then install the cpu cooler..

ok here it goes..

- RAM on the motherboard

- Fix the motherboard on to the case

- Hook up the CPU

- Hook up the aftermarket cooler
(assuming that there are screws that the cooler will block. screws that you will use to fix the motherboard on to the case..)

- then the power supply, HDD etc..

- connect all the wires (SATA, power, motherboard panel etc..)

- graphic card on PCI slots

- connect the power from PSU to the GPU.

and finally fire it up.. :)

However, if there are no screws that you use to mount the motherboard on to the case, and are accessible...

The only parts I have are the motherboard and ram I'm waiting on the CPU, GPUs, and CPU cooler. I have the CD Drive and HDDs. My case is the Phantom NZXT

However, if there are no screws that you use to mount the motherboard on to the case, and are accessible even after you install the cooler, then the easy way will be to hook up the Cooler first and then attach the motherboard-cpu-ram to the case and fix the rest of the components..

remember to put the GPU at the very end only.. because it might come in the way when installing other components and you might break them accidentally..
