Hello I have a Asus b85m-g motherboard, 8gb of g skill rip jaw ram, Intel i5 4570, zotac gtx 760 gpu and a nzxt guardian 921 case
and corsair 750w psu. I assembled all of the parts in the correct spots 100 % sure and I am not able to turn on my pc. The motherboard does have power because it shows a green led light when I switch on the psu but when I press the power button in the case it does not start up (no fans including the cpu fan or psu fan work) I have done the paper clip test on the psu and ruled out that the psu is working just fine. I also know that the case is working fine because I switched my build with my friends case and he said he was using that case 2 days ago. So I know that neither the case or the psu is the problem. I have also tried resetting the cmos and nothing works. This build is 1 day new so I have never started it up yet . Any ideas how to fix the problem. I thought it might be the motherboard short circuit for the power switch 2 pin connector.

Solution
sounds like you're beat. recheck all connections, check to see if it's plugged into the power strip and the strip and power supply switches are on.
