Hi, I recently bought an Acer Aspire V3 with a GT 750M GPU. I would like to SLI it but I wonder if it is applicable to insert a second GPU inside. Any ideas?

Lenovo does it so I think it is possible.

Thanks.

I am 99.99999% certain you cannot. In laptops the graphics chip is almost always soldered onto the motherboard. On the rare occasion it isn't, it uses a special slot but again that is rare. Extremely rare.

Long story short, I would say no you cannot do it. Sorry.

So, my laptop is pretty big and its downside has many "openable" slots like ASUS ROG's. Maybe they are for SSD or RAM installation but it could be for a secondary GPU; coudn't it?

Also, in manufacturer's site it says my laptop's GPU is upgradable up to 4GB; which could only happen with a second GPU.
