i7 980 x still a good one for nxt gen gaming?

Is it still sufficient for nxt gen gaming as its 6 core or is it outdated? Also for hw much will i find it if its used

its still an extreme series processor.....

its about as powerful as a 3770k

If you already have it, it's pretty good. If you need to buy one it's meh. IMO.
