Computer turns off wont start back up until I switch the power switch off and on. This only happens when I am mid-game with the resolution on high.
It is a recently built computer with specs:
Intel I5 cpu
EVGA GTX660 video card
Corsair CX750w pcu
Asus Z87-pro MB

I was thinking power but it seems that 750w should be plenty. Possibly overheating? Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks, Jacob

It the case around the power source feels hot right after it shuts off but the CPU core temperatures don't get above 75 degrees C. Could it be air flow through the case? I only have one case fan in the front.

Also I do not have an aftermarket cpu cooler.

I can only assume it just overheats because it never gets as hot as it does unless I am playing games. In that case is it a component problem or just airflow/case problem?

Yeah I checked the temperature of the card and it does not exceed 70C and it still shuts off.. Could it still be defective if the temperature is normal?

I don't offhand but I could borrow one from someone if I need, that might be my next step.
