HI,
Two weeks ago I bought 2x 240gb Kingston ssdnow V300 drives and i have them set in raid 0. Initially they booted up perfectly, but now the boot sometimes freezes at the windows log in screen and sometimes it goes into the automatic repair and fails. Normally a restart will get me through but this issue is becoming more and more prevalent.

It failed in a different way last week. The bios recognised two drives in the array but one had an error, Windows would still start however. Then slowly the boot became less reliable until I had to start over.

Is there anything I can do to check the drives or have I not checked a box in the bios? Last resort is to ditch the array.

Thanks

Mobo: MSI Z87-G45
Drives: 2x 240gb Kingston ssdnow V300
1x 2000gb WD Green
CPU: I5-4570
PSU: Silverstone 750w strider plus
I think thats all thats relevant.

There shouldn't be 2 SSD and one 2TB HDD in the RAID. Regularly, it only uses 2 HDD/SSD. Go use a RAID 0+1.

Sorry. The HDD is just storage.

Try these tips and see if it helps your problem:

1.) Make sure your motherboard's BIOS is on the latest version 1.7 http://us.msi.com/product/mb/Z87G45_GAMING.html#downloa...
2.) Make sure your SSDs are on the latest firmware version 525ABBF0 http://www.kingston.com/us/support/technical/downloads?...

Tried to update the BIOS but the PC will not acknowledge any of my keyboards until Windows is logging in.

The firmware updater Kingston have will only acknowledge the drives if they are in AHCI mode.
