The problem with the online "can I run it" programs is they base it off of basic things that could have any results, such as do you have 1GB of VRAM, when in reality 1GB means very little until you scale the resolution up. The CUDA cores, speed, etc matter much more, which is not typically included.

You should be able to run releases from 2011-12 decently on medium, however new releases such as BF4 will be a struggle if not impossible. To give you an example, Bioshock 2 is known to run smoothly with your GPU (AMD Radeon HD 8510G).

try going to CAN I RUN IT from They System Requirements Lab and using their tool to see if you can run a certain game, and at what level. (most of the answers you will get here are theoretical, there you will get very accurate results and how your computer compares with others etc. )

The 8510G (the integrated gpu) is the equivelant of intel graphics 4000. Chances are you will get acceptable fps at your resolution but with reduced settings (Ex: low-medium with no Anti-Aliasing in skyrim)
