Im currently running a Gigabyte GTX 670. It runs everything I throw at it flawlessly...I know this card has been discontinued and one has popped up locally for quite a good price...is there any point in getting it and running in SLI? I only ever use one monitor.

Im thinking probably just better to keep the one and upgrade to a better card when/if it becomes necessary. I dont want to miss out on a good deal though if its a good idea.

For 1 monitor, getting a second one is kind of useless. The 670 will remain a strong card for a couple of years, and by the time it can't handle newer games, you can get GPUs such as the 780 ti for a cheaper price

If it works fine, then there is really no reason to SLI it. Just upgrade when prices drop on other great cards like the 780. Keep the card until it does not perform the way you want.
