I've OC'd my 4670K to 4.6ghz at 1.2V.

The system launches fine. I've also run Prime95 for a bit to see how high the temps go, and to see how stable the OC is. My temps were at around 65ºC on full load (but sometimes during the test they flew to the low 70s?). I also discovered that after about half an our of Prime95 the system goes into BSoD (i understand it's because of the voltage).

Questions:
1. Are those temps bad? Especially when it sometimes goes to the low 70s?
2. I've heard people say that if you BSoD that far into Prime95 "it's okay because gaming is no where near as intensive as Prime95". This makes sense, but shouldn't i still increase the voltage just in case?
3. Am i close to a stable voltage, judging by the 30 minutes i get in Prime95 before i BSoD?
4. If i should increase the voltage, how small should each increment be before i test it again each time?

I would back off on the voltage to where it is stable for an hour of prime95. The temps are fine. Normal max is 72.2C. But that's just me, because no O/C is worth the cost of the board or CPU...or both. I speak from (a bad) experience.

oh yeah, what motherboard do you have? if it is not a z87 board, then yeah leave the voltage at 1.2 and back the clock down to about 4.0-4.1 and run prime95. if it is a good z87 board, then raise the voltage to ~1.23 and try that, if still unstable you can go up to ~1.28v.

i5 4670K. And I've got a newly installed custom water loop running so I was expecting much lower temperatures. First time water cooling as well so I wouldn't be surprised if I've done something wrong.

Asus Maximus VI Formula. It's a Z87 board so it should be fine.

Increased it to 1.2125 and it did the same thing. Increased it to 1.225 and it's perfect now. The temperature didn't increase at all which is very nice.
