Recently i will upgrade my cooler, but before that i want to know- What is the max safe temp of a cpu?
What is the average temp of a gaming CPU?
And at which point does a system shut down due to over heating?
My CPU is AMD FX 8320 Vishera..

re-apply your thermal paste on your CPU. not to much just a rice grains amount.

Max safe core temp is 62C But |I would keep it under 55C

Every time a new cpu or cooler is installed the thermal paste must be cleaned and reapplied no matter how new it is. this is done to fill in the gaps between the cooler and the cpu and must be done each time the seal is broken.
